This Privacy Policy explains what information ATS ScoreCard ("we", "our", or "the extension") collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding your data.
Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum data required to operate the extension:
Email address — used to create and identify your account
Resume text — extracted locally from your uploaded PDF/DOC file to perform keyword matching. Stored only in your browser's local storage.
ATS scan results — score, matched keywords, and missing keywords saved to your account history
Plan status — whether you are on the free trial or a paid plan

We do not collect your full resume file — only extracted text
We do not collect payment card details (handled by Gumroad)
We do not collect browsing history or any data from pages you visit
We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics
We do not sell your data to any third party
How We Use Your Data
To authenticate your account and maintain your login session
To perform ATS keyword matching between your resume and job descriptions
To track your trial scan usage (free plan: 3 scans)
To store your scan history so you can review past results
To manage your premium subscription status
Data Storage
Your account data (email, plan, scan history) is stored securely in Supabase, a GDPR-compliant database provider. Resume text is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API and is never transmitted to our servers.
Third-Party Services
Supabase — authentication and database (supabase.com)
Gumroad — payment processing for premium plans (gumroad.com)
These services have their own privacy policies. We do not control their data practices.
Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

Children's Privacy
ATS ScoreCard is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to This Policy
